The discovery, in 1891, of 153 coffins belonging to the Theban priests of Amun was one of the greatest finds in the history of Egyptian archaeology. The first fascicle appeared in 1909. It took almost 90 years for the second fascicle to be published, a project undertaken by Polish scientists at the Centre Polonais d'Archéologie Mediterranéenne au Caire.
