”Slavia Orientalis” is a quarterly dedicated to study of literature, culture, language, folklore, philosophical, political and social ideas, history and art of East-Slavonic nations. It also publishes texts about relations between the Russians, Ukrainians and Byelorussians with Polish and West-European culture. It deals with the topics ranging from the oldest epochs till the present day. It contains a sizable section of reviews and information about books and reports from scientific sessions and conferences. The quarterly publishes papers of outstanding Slavonic scholars from Poland, East-Slavonic and West-European countries.
